NAME
Eisern Volkskrieger

AGE
Twenty-one

BOUNTY/RANK
Recruit

DEVIL-FRUIT
None

EQUIPMENT
Sword: Of the eastern variety. Clearly it has seen much use.
Marionette: Made of wood. Has a sword similar to Eisern's.
Threads: Eisern has a giant reel of these. Made of plant fibre.

SKILLS
Swordsmanship
Unarmed Combat
Puppeteering
Wilderness Survival
Woodcrafting

ABILITIES
Ironclad: Eisern is tough. His bones are a lot denser than a standard human and his flesh is capable of distributing the force of impacts incredibly well. This also means his muscles have adapted and are 2x stronger. In exchange he's slightly slower than a normal human and a lot heavier.

SKILLS
Seitlich: An incredibly fine slash that cuts through flesh with such perfection that it leaves no wounds at all. Best used against incredibly dense targets. Converts into an absurdly heavy smashing attack when used with a sheathed blade.

Kraft: A style of unarmed combat serving as the beta for Seitlich. It produces strikes with such perfection and strength that the force passes through flesh and leaves it unharmed. Best used against hard/dense targets. Explosive when used on liquid.

OCCUPATION
G-5 Marine Recruit

AFFILIATIONS
Marines

HISTORY
Eisern grew up on an island and was raised by the locals. His family had passed away due to an incident involving Pirates so Eisern was taken in by a family of swordsmen. Eisern was too young at the time of his parent's death and, as a result, didn't feel any particular need to exact any form of revenge. He wasn't particularly inclined to learn his adoptive family's style of swordplay either. He simply borrowed a sword and went to work learning to cut things really well. It was a rough road due to the extra weight that his incredibly dense skeletal structure gave him, thus making pivoting incredibly difficult as well as making swift movements almost impossible. It was like this that Eisern realized that he'd need to learn how to swing a sword without all the extra fluff.

When Eisern realized that he couldn't practice with his family due to the differing natures of their styles he went about crafting a wooden marionette he could practice against. It occured to him again that he wouldn't be learning anything if he didn't practice against a moving target so he learned to control his puppet-like thing with strings woven of plant fibre. After breaking his fourth puppet and having run out of wood, Eisern decided he needed a way to knock down trees. This was why he developed 'Kraft': He'd simply hit trees until they fell over. When Eisern had gotten too good at knocking down trees (the point at which his punches were so perfect that most of the force was passing through the wood) he switched to cutting them down with his sword. This was when he developed 'Seitlich' and his ability to cut things exceptionally well. This entire process took about 2/3rds of this life without him even realizing that much time had passed. Past a certain point he realized he wasn't actually having any fun learning how to use a sword. It was like this that Eisern decided to chop down a couple dozen trees in order to make a boat.

Eisern hopped into his boat and set out to sea without telling anybody. He wasn't particularly interested in the flack that'd get him. He felt like there would be something interesting in the world outside of his village's tiny island. After a bit of a journey that involved scaring away the occasional sea beast, when he showed up to port and saw people dressed in a manner completely different from himself, Eisern decided that the world was a weird place and that he didn't much like it. The place he had arrived at was G-5 might I add. After it was made incredibly clear through numerous interrogations (some being quite violent) that he wasn't, in fact, a Pirate in any way, shape, or form, Eisern was offered a position as a Marine Recruit due to how well-built he looked. Eisern decided he didn't know what that was but figured it'd be an interesting experience. That was how Eisern became an incredibly dense (which is to say, absent-minded) Recruit who supposedly can't cut things to save his life. Supposedly.
