Akira is one of the smartest men on the Grand line, thus he's able to craft items, weaponry and cyborgs that would shock many people. Especially due to how he acts normally.

Card Games
Akira is quite fond of playing cards, a hobby asides from crafting and selling his goods.

Experienced Combatant
Although having no real 'combat' style, Akira has developed over his years of combat skills of being a street fighter. He's been through many battles with the marines, and through use of his cyborg body, combat skills and weaponry he has lived through them all.

After years of leading a pirate crew, Akira has taken to planning out strategies.

During his time in the New World, Akira has gained much better skills in selling on his products and trade in general. He has quite a few distribution links and suppliers.

Almost a natural thing to pick up during ones time on the sea, Akira plots their routes, so it's only natural he navigates them.

Abilities
Intelligence
Akira's greatest asset has always been his brain. The Supernova is one of the smartest men on the grand line, although it's hard to tell from how he acts. Most of his thoughts are upon his work and cybernetic advancement, it's hard to say he cares about much else other than that and his family / friends. If he truly put his mind to learning something, it would not take long at all, even if it's out of his desired field.

Eye of Mind
Something Akira developed over the two years. After hearing and seeing Observation Haki in practice, Akira began to hone his training on copying and advancing that idea, although through different means. Instead of using the enemies intent as a basis, he simply observes and through both his intelligence and combat experience bolstering the optic sensors he has; Akira predicts their movement. The accuracy of this is just as, if not more, accurate to that of Observation Haki. The only issue is that he has to actively watch the opponent, but on the upside even ways to get around Observation Haki are not going to stop him.

Haki
Despite his lack of Observation Haki being made up by 'Eye of Mind', Akira still holds usage of the armament Haki. It is favoured by him greatly as it allows to preserve his cybernetic limbs and grant even greater durability. Thus, he has honed his skills with this too during his time in the New World. Even able to coat his cybernetic limbs in the 'black' hardened state.
