Skills:

Archery: She’s a fairly accomplished archer, able to hit a number of targets from exceedingly large distances up to several hundred yards without much assistance.

Eagle Eye: She has very good vision and is able to spot things from a good distance off, which is quite possibly part of the reason she’s so good at archery.

Swordplay: She has a bit of experience when it comes to swords, having learned how to use them before joining the marines and then having focused on them over the last few years as this has been a fairly weak point of hers in the past. She can know wield one fairly naturally, and two without any issue.

Cooking: Oh man can she make up some food. It’s like magic, and awesome, and a little more magic.

Abilities:

Paper Manipulation: Allows her to control the paper in her general area, as well as to make paper out of herself, and things in which one could make paper out of, although making paper out of things in her area is –far- more difficult than making paper from herself and the paper she’s already generated from herself. The control she has of her paper extends up to around 500 feet in all directions, although the more paper she has under her control, the more difficult is it for her to control it.

Explosive Paper: She is able to create paper which has the capacity to explode. The explosions themselves aren’t too violent with individual sheets, however when the sheets are stacked atop each other the violence of the explosions can be quite great.

Paper Arrow: She creates an arrow made of paper, which she then shoots from her bow. The paper arrow will operate like a normal arrow after she shoots it, since they quickly leave her sphere of influence.

Books Books!: Allows her to create books of all shapes and sizes, paperback, and hardback covers. The books cannot be given the capability to explode themselves, but can be used as shields, or as offensive weapons. The books themselves are much more difficult to control so they tend to only be around for as long as needed unless they’re there to serve the purpose of being…well a book.

Busoshoku Haki: During her time at G-5 she has learned how to manipulate this form of Haki with a fair bit of ability, able to combine it with her attacks to strengthen them, as well as with her defenses to strengthen them and downplay her natural weaknesses.

Fire! Water! No!: Not so much an ability as it is a weakness. When exposed to fire or water her paper can be either burned or soaked to the point in which she has a very difficult time controlling it, and when she comes in contact with these her usual properties as a logia are deposed as she’s able to be struck directly. This property will also apply to high heat, while it won’t burn the pages, it will make her vulnerable to attack.

History:
She was born in North Blue with her parents and her sister. She had always been a bit of an adventurer but knew that becoming a pirate to obtain this thing that she wanted was a terrible…horrible idea, so at the age of 15 she began to travel as a merchant. For a while her trips took her far and wide, but she continued to see a problem, one that was getting progressively worse and that she herself had fallen victim to a few times, piracy. Pirates were rampant on the seas, and instead of being one of those things which were a once in a blue moon event, pirates seemed to be popping up all over the place, and as such she needed to find a way to defend herself.

With that she took up a combination of archery and sword training, eventually learning how to use each of these effectively to defend herself and those around her. This feeling that was at first security later began to fester as a kind of guilt. How could she simply protect herself while she saw the world and allow others to suffer at the hands of these pirates who tormented many of them on a nearly constant basis? The answer was that she couldn’t, and after a year she enlisted in the marines, during her time in which she came across and odd looking fruit after a ship wreak left her stranded on an island. She was declared missing for several months before being presumed dead after the ship-wreck, but amazingly after nearly a year on her own she –flew- into the nearest marine base, landing with a sigh of great relief to have survived her ordeal on the island.

She was quickly reinstated into the marines after her identity was verified and given her old rank back, however instead of slowly rising as she had been before, she quickly rose thanks to the abilities afforded to her by the fruit she had eaten during her time on the uncharted island. She made her way up through the lower ranks and found herself a Commander, not that she hadn’t had any of the leadership qualities beforehand. For the time being she did her rounds, making sure to keep those pirates on their toes, since she wants to make sure to keep them under wraps.

Over the last two years she has spent a good portion of her time training herself at the marine base G-5, along with several other of her marine cohorts.
